Christmas is just right around the corner and will be here before we know it. It is an exciting time of year but some of us loose our minds thinking of what to buy for our loved ones. I have always found leather apparel to be very universal when buying gifts.

Bags from the Boot
In the quality garment and fashion accessory market, Italian craftsmanship is synonymous with quality. Italy is home to such highly touted brands as Gucci and Giovanni Navarre. Its leather schools and factories have set the standard for efficient production and innovative design. It’s no surprise, then, that fashion-savvy consumers have taken notice.
For many women, an Italian leather handbag is just as much a status symbol as it is a functional carryall. When slung stylishly over a lady’s shoulder, the bag screams sophistication and attention to detail. But that’s not discount the practical aspects of leather handbags; synthetic materials are no substitute for leather’s impressive durability.
Chewing Gum on a Leather Bag
Chewing gum on a leather purse or bag can be a nuisance but might not be fatal for your favorite apparel. I did some research when my friends leather coach purse was almost destroyed by chewing gum. I needed to find out if it was salvageable. We found a lot of different ideas on how to get rid of the gum without ruining the leather purse.
We found the best result with no damage to her purse was first scrapping of any of the excess gum. We mixed a mild dish soap with lukewarm water, mixing it up to create a lot of suds. Then applying only the foam with a sponge to the affected area until the gum was gone. Dry with a clean cloth. After the purse was dried then we applied a leather cleaner.

Faux leather comes in many different embossed prints like snake skin, and alligator even though they may are not made of real alligator and snake skin. Sizes can vary from a wristlet to a large piece of luggage.

Leather Purse for Real Estate Agents
My aunt is a real estate agent and she is always carrying here papers, folders, and keys to a home in her rather large purse when showing a home to a client. She was talking about how she did not want to carry a briefcase around for her files because she might feel to business like and she just wants to be relaxed while meeting with potential clients.
Knowing that she needed something more organized than her oversized purse her brother (my father) suggested a leather purse like shopping bag. Leather is very classy and sophisticated he told her and you can find them large enough for your files and any other things you might need for showing the houses. I thought that was very insightful of my father to suggest. The next time we saw her she had a brand new bag perfect for all her needs.
Leather Care and Maintenance

If you’ve recently purchased a leather purse, it’s very likely that you are looking for ways to ensure it stays looking its best. After all, many people shy away from leather bags because of the potential for damage. But with a little bit of care and few precautions, you can take your leather bag with you almost anywhere without having to worry about permanent damage.
For one, make sure that you look into basic leather care additives. These waxes or protective layers can be added to the leather when you first purchase the item, and it will serve as a safeguard against water damage or cracks in the leather. Also, even with this protective coating, avoid water exposure as much as possible. If you’re caught in the rain, shield the leather bag under an umbrella or your coat. If it does get a bit wet, though, don’t worry. Just wipe dry as soon as possible.
Leather As A By-Product
In researching leather as a by-product I came up with both aspects of people for leather, and people against leather. Both aspects have their pros and cons. For example some sources say that in the leather industries the raw materials are by-products of the meat industry, with the meat having higher value than the skin. For example, the beef we get from the cow is worth more than the leather its skin provides.
However, Vegans might say that to purchase a leather purse or leather coat would be supporting the cruelty of animals. They would argue the fact of leather being a by-product and would not purchase anything that came from any animal ant any time. Vegans might choose faux leather products which are made out of nylon or PVC forms of plastics. This is a question that will go on for generations.
Getting the Most Out of Your Leather Bag

People always seem to gravitate to leather when it comes to handbags. Not only is the material sturdy, but it’s also resilient. Easy to clean and maintain, leather handbags often surprise people by lasting for far longer than expected. For this reason, leather bags usually represent the best value you can find in a purse. For this combination of value and beauty, it’s common to see leather in the work of many well known designers that specialize in handbags.
But there is one thing to consider when you’re buying a leather bag. If you’re going to have this bag for many years, make sure it isn’t too trendy of a style. If it’s something that’s going to go out of favor in a few months, there’s no use in having a bag that sturdy and of such high quality. Pick a color of leather that will age well both with wear and tear and trends. This typically means choosing black, brown, or tan. Also, make sure the style is something that you could see yourself using for many years.
What Is An Italian Leather Purse?

My Dads Leather Purse.
In June 2007 my father collapsed at work. He was rushed to the emergency room and was told that he had a blockage from his heart to his intestines. My dad has had many surgeries and many near death experiences since then.
When my father came home from the hospital the first time, he had made a comment about needing a “purse” to carry all of his medical supplies around with him. My Mom an I laughed it off. Later I found him shopping online for a leather purse. He wanted something that he could where over his shoulder or on his back. He found the perfect one. It holds everything that he has to carry everyday.
