Back to School Essentials
In about a month’s time, kids will be returning in droves to school buildings across the country. Parents have already begun to seek out back-to-school deals on supplies. As important as notebooks, pens, pencils and the like may be, children also need a means to carry those items. Backpacks have a way of wearing out in just a year or two, and this is a perfect time for an update.
Leather backpacks in particular combine a stylish sensibility with the function kids need. Cutting edge accessories are all the rage among adults, but their charms aren’t lost on children either. That’s why fashion sense is just as important as sturdy construction. When your child gets back to the daily grind, make sure he or she has a way to tote books from place to place in style.
The Portable Office
As much as I love my job, it requires a time investment above and beyond most careers. I work as a lawyer in a downtown law office, and most of my duties spill over into evenings and weekends. When business is booming, you don’t ask questions. Instead, you become prepared. For me, that meant purchasing a leather briefcase to transport my important paperwork.
I also spend a significant amount of time on the road, traveling to far-flung courthouses and district attorneys’ offices. It’s impractical to grab case files and simply toss them in the car because they would become shuffled and disorganized en route. The briefcase keeps all of my documents in order and looks stylish to boot. I never leave home – or the office – without it.
